THE WORKSHOPS

In all the workshops, designed for men and women, our intention is to work with one artwork during the duration of the workshop. We begin on one piece of paper, and during the day our painting may continue to “grow”, as paper gets added, when the art work calls for it. We are in a relationship with our changing piece: which means that we try not to force our control on our work as tempting or as human as that is.

Susan participates as a creator in all workshops while she also guides with total presence toward the deep processes being experienced by her participants. Susan never analyzes a client's work, though private discussion can ensue if someone is in question about their work. The painting becomes the teacher, inspiring the participant to allow images to be seen often for the first time.
